The Municipality of Lipsi welcomes you!

Lipsi is a 16-square-mile open-air museum with beautiful country houses, well-kept threshing floors, rainwater collection cisterns, stone fences and kilns. The small expanse of the island, its mild geomorphology and the variety of all these constructions, make up a special environment that makes the island ideal for a walk all months of the year.

Around the island of Lipsi is formed the homonymous polynesus, consisting of twenty-four rock islets (24) and six (6) rocks, totaling an area of twenty-one (21) square. km.

Lipsi with the surrounding islets form the municipality of Lipsi. The names of almost all islets and rocky islands are based on soil characteristics. The main ones are Lyra, Kalavropa, Kaparonisi, Frangos, Sarakiniko, Makronissi.

North of Lipsi extends the cluster of the rocky islets of Refoulia, while in the northeast of the island are the famous Northern and Southern Aspronisia.

The Lipsi Polynesians, located in the northern part of the Dodecanese islands, between the coasts of Asia Minor, the Cyclades, Patmos, Leros and Kalymnos, combines diverse landscapes with hidden treasures ready to be discovered.

It is a destination for singles or couples, for families, friends, for nature lovers, courageous walkers, untrained travelers, trail detectors, and religious people. For a long or short holydays.

Diving in crystal clear waters, fishing in crystal clear seas, boats trips to islets, small islands and rocky islets, churches that tell stories next to the waves. A virgin nature that changes colors from season to season but always remains as seductive and interesting.

Lipsi put color in your holidays. They invite you to live a fairy tale, that will remain engraved in your memory forever!
